Collections. Rick has extensive experience in collections, for both businesses and individuals. He represents banks, leasing companies, credit unions, tool and die shops, trucking companies, automobile dealerships, medical providers, schools and numerous other businesses in collecting delinquent accounts. Rick is especially successful at turning money judgments into actual cash for his clients.
Domestic Relations. Few events in life are as difficult as going through a divorce or custody dispute. Rick has the experience, competence and compassion necessary to assist his clients through these difficult situations. He is dedicated to providing the attentive, personal service his clients need in order to navigate this trying time in their lives.
Personal Injury. For over 30 years Rick has skillfully handled a wide variety of personal injury matters. He has secured large verdicts for his clients through negotiation, mediation and litigation. Rick understands that a serious injury or the death of a loved one is difficult enough without the added burden of dealing with insurance companies or pursuing legal action and he is dedicated to making the process move along as quickly and effectively as possible.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, FAMILY AND HOBBIES
Rick has made his home in the Grandville area for 35 years, where he and his wife, Holly, attend First Reformed Church. They have two grown children who live in the West Michigan area. Rick has been Chairman of Grandville’s Downtown Development Authority since its inception in 1984. He has served on the Board of Directors for Grandville Senior Neighbors and has taught at Grand Rapids Community College. In 2012 he had the distinction of being named Business Person of the Year by the Grandville/Jenison Chamber of Commerce. Rick enjoys traveling, golfing, reading, and spending time with his family.
